About Melanie

Melanie Flower, MA (Cantab), BSc NMed, KFRP

Whilst at university she researched the protective effects of vitamin E in cancer. After graduating, she went on to study at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition for a year before embarking on a course at the Plaskett College of Nutritional Medicine. After four years of study she graduated from the Plaskett College with distinction and went on to gain a BSc in Nutritional Medicine with Thames Valley University.

Intrigued by kinesiology and to provide a more complete natural healthcare offering, Melanie then went on to study Health Kinesiology, and is Kinesiologist Federation Registered Professional (KFRP).

Melanie's aim is to educate and motivate her patients about the numerous benefits of taking control of their health. Consultations are conducted in a relaxed yet professional manner; Melanie prides herself on being non-judgemental and understanding what a busy modern lifestyle entails.

Melanie is a Nutritional Therapy Council Registered Practitioner, registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, a Registered Foresight Practitioner and a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy, the Kinesiology Federation and the Complementary Therapists Association. She carries full insurance and is a PruHealth registered health provider.
